Call Us Irresponsible?

Yesterday on Fox News, Republican strategist Karl Rove denounced the call to impeach Obama as a Democrat Party ploy to encourage its base to fill its coffers with tons of money. Rush Limbaugh said the same thing earlier in the day; that it was a ploy. But Rush didn’t abuse Conservative Tea Partiers “irresponsible” for feeling, however impossible the dream, that Obama should be impeached.

Let’s talk about Mr. Rove’s irresponsibility. Let’s start with the Dream Act. Did you know that the Dream Act began not with Obama, but with George W. Bush?

In 2003, Pres. George W. signed the American Dream Downpayment Act of 2003.

As he signed the act, he appointed Alphonso Jackson Acting Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

“One of the biggest hurdles to homeownership,” Bush said, “is getting money for a down-payment. This administration has recognized that, and so today, I’m honored to be here to sign a law that will help many low-income buyers to overcome that hurdle and to achieve an important part of the American Dream.

He went on to say, “HThe rate of homeownership in America now stands a record high of 68.4 percent. Yet there is room for improvement. The rate of homeownership amongst minorities is below 50 percent. And that’s not right, and this country needs to do something about it. We need to — (applause.) We need to close the minority homeownership gap in America so more citizens have the satisfaction and mobility that comes from owning your own home, from owning a piece of the future of America.

“Last year I set a goal to add 5.5 million new minority homeowners in America by the end of the decade. That is an attainable goal; that is an essential goal. And we’re making progress toward that goal. In the past 18 months, more than 1 million minority families have become homeowners. (Applause.) And there’s more that we can do to achieve the goal. The law I sign today will help us build on this progress in a very practical way. “

Five years later, the bottom fell out of the housing market – and the economy. The minorities will eventually be placed in the underwater homes free of charge, while thousands of workers have lost their jobs to a business economy that was not about to foot the tax burden of people who couldn’t afford their own houses.

Nice going, Mr. Responsibility.

Somehow, Mr. Responsibility thinks that the minorities, particularly the Hispanics, will magically vote for the Republicans if they shed their all-American, work-for-it attitude and assume a more liberal and enlightened demeanor. In other words, become like the enemy. If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Anyone who criticizes Mr. Responsibility will get a stern look and a reproving wag of his finger.
In the Republican-Turned-Democratic perspective, if the Hispanics are so convinced that America, particularly the American Southwest, really belonged to them all along and that America stole it from them, then we should give it back, or allow them to settle there without the bother of becoming Americans or learning English.

Or American history. Never mind that the Mexicans of the time didn’t want to live in what is now America because it was a) too far from civilization and b) filled with American Indians who, at that time, certainly didn’t believe in multiculturalism. But the Texans who lived in Texas did want to be Americans. According to Dinesh D’Souza’s movie, America won Mexico all the way down to the border of Guatemala. But we gave it back to the Mexicans once we won the war and gave Texas to the residents who wanted to be Americans, not Mexicans.

But now the Mexicans and the “Native Americans” are all one big happy minority, thanks to largesse of the Democrat Party and Lyndon Johnson and Bill Clinton, who decimated the ICE Border Patrol, allowing thousands of illegal aliens to overwhelm the borders and take up permanent residence everywhere from Brownsville, Texas, to Rochester, N.Y.

The Republicans also, presumably on the advice of Mr. Responsibility, have changed their position on the legalization of marijuana and gay marriage. Presumably, this will draw in the young voters.

Never mind that generations of “young” voters (who are now eligible for Social Security) had their brains addled by pot, leading (in some cases) to the use of harder drugs like heroin and cocaine.

“It’s no big deal,” they were told. “How do you know something is bad before you even try it?”

Gee, with that kind of logic, we’d all be drinking bleach, floor cleaner, and weed killer.

That was the sales pitch the college drug dealer tried on me. Actually, he was angry because he knew I was warning my classmates not to do it.

“How do you know unless you try it?” he asked.

“I don’t need to try it to know,” I replied. “I see what it’s done to you. And I’ve seen what it’s done to my classmates. You’re a Communist and this is some kind of plot to derange the young people into voting themselves out of freedom.”

Now that kind of line should have gotten a laugh back in the late 1970s. But Mr. Drug-Dealer Trotsky, Jr., didn’t laugh. Not exactly. Instead, his face screwed up into a flummoxed scowl.

“Yeah,” he said, finally. “You know what? You’re exactly right. We are doing it on purpose. We’re getting even for what the Imperialist English did to the Chinese, getting them hooked on opium.”

“And you think that the young Americans are just going to, basically, commit political suicide because you say so?”

“Yeah, that’s right,” he said. “They’ll do anything we want them to once they take a puff of this.” He held up the joint.

What he was talking about was the 17th Century trade deficit between England (and Western Europe) and China. China had goods that the Europeans wanted, but there was nothing the Europeans had that the Chinese wanted, except for gold. So, the Elizabethans found a commodity in the fields of Southeast Asia – poppies. A plant that could be made into an addictive drug – opium- that they could easily sell to the Chinese once they were addicted. Opium could also be chemically transformed into another drug – heroin.

Certainly, it was a notorious chapter in English history. Nevertheless, that is no reason for our youth commit virtual suicide. What’s more, it’s quite irresponsible of any Republican Party leader to pave the way for this suicide by legalizing drugs or allowing the dealers of the drugs free passage over the border into our country. We expect it of the Democrats, not the Republicans.

That’s what happened here in our little section of Northern New Jersey. Having nothing better to do last summer, I decided to do some community service and clean up our main streets of all the litter and refuse. Among the garbage were discarded heroin packets, countless whiskey bottles, and occasionally, even needles. The police stopped me when the local Democrats objected to the Tea Party sign on my cart. However, I suggested to them that they take a walk around themselves and take a good look at the mounting heroin packets.

Apparently, they did. But only after more local residents died of overdoses. In June, over 300 people were arrested in a huge heroin bust in the tri-county areas of Bergen, Morris and Passaic counties, with the city of Paterson serving as the hub. The local newspaper, The Trends, listed the names of those arrested for use, but not those of dealers. They were all young, in their 20s and 30s, some of them bearing old, local names.

In case you’re wondering, it’s not only Hispanics involved in the trade, or Blacks, but Asians as well.

Should we be talking about impeaching Obama before important election, where we could possibly pick up more seats that would ensure his impeachment afterwards? Probably not. Is Obama yanking our chain? Undoubtedly, so that the toilet bowl of liberal funds will overflow, elected more garbage to Congress. Should we let him yank our chain?

The answer to that question lies in whether he’s serious about granting amnesty to all illegal aliens. He promised to transform America and so far, he’s kept his word on every count, except perhaps on cap and trade, which Congress opposed. Still, we have to wait for him to actually commit the crime before we can charge him with it.

Andrew McCarthy, in his new book, Faithless Execution, says as much. The book hasn’t arrived on my doorstep yet. But according to reviews, he lays out the case for impeaching it. McCarthy says that first Americans must build the political case for impeachment – and grounds are there – before Congress can successfully bring the charges.

We must be patient. But that doesn’t mean we have to be insulted while we’re sitting still and listen someone who has advocated illegal immigration and the redistribution of wealth tell us that we should be ashamed.

In the fall of 1970, Rove used a false identity to enter the campaign office of Democrat Alan J. Dixon, who was running for Treasurer of Illinois. He stole 1000 sheets of paper with campaign letterhead, printed fake campaign rally fliers promising “free beer, free food, girls and a good time for nothing,” and distributed them at rock concerts and homeless shelters, with the effect of disrupting Dixon’s rally. (Dixon eventually won the election). Rove’s role would not become publicly known until August 1973 when Rove told the Dallas Morning News.

In 1999 he said, “It was a youthful prank at the age of 19 and I regret it.” In his memoir, Rove wrote that when he was later nominated to the Board for International Broadcasting by President George H.W. Bush, Senator Dixon did not kill his nomination. In Rove’s account, “Dixon displayed more grace than I had shown and kindly excused this youthful prank.”

Now, no one cares about a youthful prank. The problem with this is that Obama, 38 years later, with take that page from Rove’s notebook, and win the election, just as Dixon did. In fact, the entire Democrat party apparently took that page from Rove’s notebook and have been winning elections ever since.

As for breaking into the Democrat’s campaign office, his action preceded the Watergate affair by two years, leading to the downfall of a Republican president. The Washington Post later heard of it and reported on Rove as the “Teacher of Tricks.” Not that the Democrats should be pointing fingers at anyone else.

This is the guy who’s advising the Republican Party and wagging his finger at us, the Tea Party?

Seriously?

Anything Can Happen, If You Let It

I’d been listening to the Glenn Beck Radio Program on my television this morning. He seemed to be groveling to some West Side Liberal from Manhattan.

“Oh we disagree on policy but we agree on the goal [when it comes to the poor],” Beck slavered to this slimy West Sider. Or something like that; it’s not an exact quote. But his compromising was enough to make me want to gag. When will he understand that it’s not a matter of being “liked” but by whom you’re liked? The same guy suckering him in now will rob him in a year or two of his right to practice his religion.

So I switched channels to Cablevision’s radio programming, Stage and Screen to be precise. I haven’t seen the new stage version of Mary Poppins so I’m not familiar with any of its numbers. However, this Mary Poppins sang a catchy tune called, “Anything Can Happen If You Let It” in a voice uncannily similar to Julie Andrews.

Anyway, it seemed an appropriate title for our times. For all those Americans blind to what’s happening in our United States of America – the invasion of illegal aliens (and the one-party system that is certain to follow), the destruction of our capitalist economy, the complete corruption of our culture, the degenerate immorality, the acceptance of gay marriage, the propagation of abortion, our dwindling freedom of speech, the disarming, literally, of America, both in terms of gun ownership and our military capability, the betraying of our allies, our grasping friendship with terrorist states and dictatorships, the eventual destruction of property ownership, the legalization of drugs, and the brainwashing of our children – well, anything can happen if you let it.

I’ve predicted before that by 2016 – 2020 at the latest – there will be no more United States of America. We who had been watching to news rather than American Idol knew this was coming. We tried to warn you fools but you wouldn’t listen. You couldn’t believe it or didn’t want to. Because of his magic melanin, you didn’t want to believe or at least admit publicly that Obama was evil. Yes, evil. A traitor.

You boiled frogs thought that his promise of a transformed America would be a good thing. How could you say it wouldn’t be, since he was black? Never mind that his biography, Dreams of My Father, is a complete, modern Communist manifesto, replete with diatribes on his hatred of American “imperialism,” colonialism, and white suburbia.

He’s on the brink, today’s reports state, of signing an amnesty bill that will allow the parents of the poor destitute “children” (some with graying hair and beards) to join them as they overthrow our federal republic. The crooked politicians in my town have posted signs in the past welcoming them to the voting booth, vowing that no identity will be required.

This is only the latest influx of Hispanics (of numerous varieties) to be ushered into the nation. The first Hispanics arrived in the 1960s, at the invitation of Sen. Ted Kennedy and Pres. Lyndon Johnson. Then, in the 1990s, Pres. Bill Clinton drastically reduced the number of ICE agents, especially on the border (did you forget), leading to an inundation of our sleepy little New Jersey suburbs.

Butler, once a safe town, was overridden by Mexican drug dealers and welfare recipients. Where you could once walk the streets in complete safety, by the end of the 1990s, a woman had to worry even driving her car at night.

Since 2000, the Hispanic population in our area has doubled. The NJASK scores have plummeted by an average of 20 percent in our area. A combination, I suspect of illegal, illiterate alien children and a plan to “narrow the achievement gap” by the Communists through Common Core. Just wait until you see the scores. That’s what I’ve been working on. That’s why I haven’t published any posts. I haven’t given up. I’m just busy crunching the numbers. My editor always said if you want to convince people of the facts, show them the numbers.

Of course, it will probably be too late by then. There’s talk of impeaching Obama but that’s certainly not going to happen. Impeach a black president? Please. You’re talking about the same idiots who voted for him. Even when they see the United Nations flag flying over their children’s schools, the post office, and the police station, and they gape at it in drug-addled confoundment, wondering what happened to the American flag, someone will tell them that this is much more just, fairer, better. They won’t have to worry about anymore elections, which were just a nuisance anyway. The Communist government will take care of everything. Don’t worry about it.

And then the deranged will just shrug and shuffle away, scoffing at the angry protestors as crazy. Politics? They just can’t be bothered. We mustn’t bother them while they’re not thinking.
